Privacy Policy

Parcels Shopping: Last updated: September 19, 2026

1. OVERVIEW

Parcels is a shopping organization and product-discovery application that allows users to save, organize, view, and revisit products from retailers, websites, and applications.

This Privacy Policy explains how Parcels (“Parcels,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use the Parcels mobile application, share extension, website, communications, and related services, collectively referred to as the “Services.”

This Privacy Policy is a notice describing our information practices. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular use of information, we will request that consent separately.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

ACCOUNT AND AUTHENTICATION INFORMATION

When you create or access a Parcels account, we may collect:

• Your email address;

• A unique Parcels account identifier;

• Authentication records and session information;

• Your name, if provided through Sign in with Apple or another authentication method; and

• Information needed to administer and secure your account.

If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide us with your name and email address, including an Apple private-relay address if you choose to hide your email. Parcels does not receive your Apple ID password.

SAVED PRODUCTS AND SHOPPING-LIBRARY INFORMATION

When you save or organize a product, we may collect and store:

• Product and retailer URLs;

• Product titles, brands, sellers, prices, descriptions, colors, categories, and subcategories;

• Product-image URLs;

• Dates on which products were saved or viewed;

• Whether a product was marked as purchased, prioritized, deleted, or placed in a basket;

• Basket names, organization, and membership;

• Corrections or edits you make to saved-product information; and

• Other product-related information you choose to provide.

This information may reveal or allow us to infer shopping interests and preferences—for example, an apparent interest in swimwear, skincare, furniture, or a particular retailer. We treat such inferences as personal information when they can reasonably be associated with you or your account.

Parcels stores image URLs with saved products. Product-image files used for display may be downloaded from the retailer or image host and temporarily cached on the device displaying them. Parcels does not currently upload these cached image files to Supabase or iCloud.

PRODUCT-PAGE INFORMATION

When you save a product, Parcels may retrieve and process information from the relevant product page, including:

• The product-page URL and originating retailer;

• Page titles, descriptions, metadata, and product details;

• Prices, brands, categories, colors, dimensions, materials, and sizing information;

• Candidate product-image URLs; and

• Page text or other product-related evidence needed to identify, classify, verify, or summarize the product.

Some of this information may be sent to service providers that help Parcels retrieve, structure, classify, verify, or summarize product information.

USAGE AND ANALYTICS INFORMATION

Parcels collects first-party analytics about use of the Services. Depending on the activity, this may include:

• Your Parcels user identifier;

• A randomly generated session identifier;

• App opens and session activity;

• Products saved, viewed, or unsuccessfully processed;

• Product category and subcategory;

• The domain of the originating retailer;

• Visits to the original retailer;

• Basket opens and the number of items added to baskets;

• Processing results and duration;

• Event date and time; and

• App version.

Parcels’ current analytics are designed not to include complete product URLs, product titles, product descriptions, basket names, search text, email addresses, feedback text, or device advertising identifiers.

Because analytics records contain a Parcels user identifier, they are pseudonymous rather than anonymous and may be associated with your account.

AUTOMATED PRODUCT PROCESSING AND AI INFORMATION

Parcels uses automated systems and third-party artificial-intelligence infrastructure to extract and organize product information. Information processed for these purposes may include:

• Product URLs;

• Product-page text and metadata;

• Product descriptions and facts;

• Candidate product-image URLs;

• The requested processing operation; and

• Technical information such as model name, token counts, success status, retry status, and approximate input-size category.

Parcels does not intentionally include your email address in product-enrichment requests.

Parcels may maintain a product-level cache of verified facts so that the same publicly available product does not need to be processed repeatedly. This cache is designed to contain product information rather than the identity of the user who first saved the product.

Automatically extracted or generated information may be incomplete or inaccurate.

FEEDBACK AND SUPPORT INFORMATION

If you submit feedback, a bug report, or a feature request, we may collect:

• The category and contents of your message;

• A product URL if you include one;

• A randomly generated installation identifier used for rate limiting and abuse prevention;

• The date and delivery status of the submission; and

• Other information you voluntarily include.

Feedback may be stored by our cloud provider and delivered to us through an email-delivery provider.

TECHNICAL AND NETWORK INFORMATION

When the Services communicate with Parcels, retailers, image hosts, or service providers, those parties may automatically receive information commonly transmitted over the internet, including:

• IP address;

• Request date and time;

• Device, browser, and operating-system information;

• App version and HTTP headers;

• The requested URL, domain, or resource; and

• Diagnostic, security, and error information.

Parcels does not currently access the device’s advertising identifier for its first-party analytics.

PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

If Parcels introduces paid features or subscriptions, Apple may process those transactions. Parcels may receive transaction identifiers, subscription status, products purchased, renewal or expiration information, and other information needed to provide paid features.

Parcels does not receive your complete payment-card information from Apple.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We may use information to:

• Create, authenticate, secure, and administer your account;

• Save, synchronize, display, organize, and restore your shopping library;

• Retrieve, structure, categorize, and summarize product information;

• Display product images and maintain temporary device caches;

• Provide and administer paid features or subscriptions;

• Respond to feedback and provide customer support;

• Diagnose failures, prevent abuse, enforce usage limits, and maintain security;

• Measure engagement and understand how the Services are used;

• Improve product extraction, features, performance, and user experience;

• Personalize your experience based on saved products and activity;

• Send authentication codes, security notices, and other transactional communications;

• Send marketing communications where permitted and provide applicable unsubscribe controls;

• Operate affiliate links, measure retailer referrals, prevent fraud, and attribute commissions;

• Produce aggregated or deidentified statistics and market insights;

• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;

• Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements; and

• Carry out another purpose disclosed when information is collected, with consent where required.

Parcels does not currently use private saved-product information to train a general-purpose AI model.

4. AFFILIATE LINKS AND SHOPPING PARTNERS

Parcels may participate in affiliate marketing programs offered by retailers, affiliate networks, and other shopping partners.

When you choose to visit a retailer through Parcels, we may convert the destination into an affiliate link. If you complete an eligible purchase or another qualifying action after following that link, Parcels may receive a commission from the retailer or affiliate partner. This does not increase the price you pay.

Affiliate tracking is initiated only after you affirmatively select a link that takes you to a retailer. Simply opening Parcels or viewing a saved item does not cause Parcels to initiate an affiliate redirect.

When you follow an affiliate link, the retailer and the affiliate partner handling that link may receive information needed to operate the affiliate program and attribute a transaction. Depending on the partner and your device or browser, this may include:

• The retailer page or product link you selected;

• The date and time of the click;

• Your IP address and approximate location derived from it;

• Device, browser, and operating-system information;

• Cookie, device, click, or transaction identifiers; and

• Information about whether a qualifying purchase or other transaction occurred.

Affiliate partners and retailers may use cookies, pixels, scripts, redirects, or similar technologies to recognize the referral, prevent fraud, measure performance, and attribute commissions. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies.

Parcels does not intentionally include your name, email address, Parcels account identifier, saved-item identifier, payment information, or sensitive personal information in an affiliate link.

Purchases are completed directly with the retailer. Parcels does not receive your retailer payment-card information through the affiliate-link process.

Our affiliate partners may include Sovrn, Inc. Sovrn operates its services as an independent controller of the information it processes. You can learn more through the Sovrn Privacy Policy at:

https://www.sovrn.com/privacy-policy/privacy-policy/

You can manage or disable Sovrn Commerce affiliate tracking through the Sovrn Privacy Center at:

https://www.sovrn.com/privacy-policy/policy-center/

An affiliate opt-out may apply only to the browser or device on which it is set and may need to be renewed if cookies are deleted or a different browser or device is used.

Parcels may use additional affiliate networks and retailer programs. We will update this Privacy Policy when adding a partner whose processing materially changes our information practices.

Where required by applicable law, we will request consent or provide an applicable opt-out before using affiliate tracking technologies. You may also use available browser or device controls to limit cookies or tracking.

Disabling affiliate tracking will not prevent you from using Parcels or visiting a retailer, but Parcels may not receive credit for your purchase.

5. HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

We use vendors that help operate the Services. Depending on the service, these providers may process personal information on our behalf or act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.

Current providers and recipients may include:

• Supabase, for account authentication, hosted databases, cloud synchronization, server-side functions, analytics records, AI-usage records, and feedback storage;

• OpenRouter and participating model providers, for automated extraction, classification, and rewriting of product information;

• ScrapingBee, for retrieval of publicly available product pages when direct retrieval is unavailable or unsuccessful;

• Resend, for authentication, transactional, and feedback-email delivery;

• Apple, for Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, purchases, subscriptions, and platform services;

• Sovrn, for affiliate-link creation, referral measurement, fraud prevention, and commission attribution;

• Retailers and image-delivery networks, for delivery of product pages and product images; and

• Currency-conversion services, for current exchange-rate information used to display converted prices.

Service providers acting on our behalf are expected to process information only for the services they provide and to apply protections consistent with their obligations to us and applicable law.

RETAILERS AND AFFILIATE PARTNERS

When you load a remotely hosted image, open a retailer, or follow an affiliate link, the retailer, image host, or affiliate partner may receive technical, product, and referral information.

PROFESSIONAL ADVISERS

We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, financing sources, or similar advisers where reasonably necessary.

LEGAL, SAFETY, AND SECURITY DISCLOSURES

We may disclose information where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

• Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request;

• Protect Parcels, our users, or others from fraud, security threats, or harm;

• Investigate violations of our agreements; or

• Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

BUSINESS TRANSFERS

Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

Where required, we will provide notice before personal information becomes subject to materially different practices.

AT YOUR DIRECTION

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or provide consent.

6. SALE, SHARING, ADVERTISING, AND REMARKETING

Parcels does not currently sell account information or saved-product libraries for money.

Parcels does not currently provide identifiable saved-product histories or shopping-interest profiles to advertising networks or data brokers for their own remarketing or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Parcels does:

• Use saved-product and activity information internally to operate, personalize, analyze, and improve the Services;

• Disclose information to service providers that help operate Parcels;

• Use affiliate links that may disclose referral and technical information after you choose to visit a retailer;

• Receive commissions from qualifying affiliate transactions; and

• Create aggregated or deidentified statistics that are not reasonably linkable to an individual.

Certain privacy laws use broad definitions of “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising.” Affiliate-related disclosures involving cookie, device, click, or transaction identifiers may fall within those definitions in some jurisdictions, even when Parcels does not receive money in exchange for the information itself.

Where applicable, Parcels will provide the required notice, consent, or opt-out mechanism.

If Parcels introduces user-level remarketing, audience sharing, data-broker disclosure, or another materially different commercial use of shopping-interest data, we will first:

• Update this Privacy Policy and any required notice at collection;

• Provide prominent notice of the change;

• Obtain affirmative consent where required;

• Provide legally required sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising opt-outs;

• Honor applicable opt-out preference signals where required;

• Implement Apple App Tracking Transparency permission where the activity constitutes tracking under Apple’s rules; and

• Avoid applying a materially different use retroactively to previously collected information without any consent required by law.

7. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

Parcels may send transactional messages concerning authentication, security, subscriptions, account activity, or material changes to the Services.

If Parcels sends promotional email, you may unsubscribe using the link in the message or another provided method. Unsubscribing from promotional email will not prevent essential transactional or security messages.

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining security, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, complying with law, and enforcing agreements.

Current retention practices include:

• Account and synchronized library information is retained while your account remains active.

• Items placed in Recently Deleted are generally retained for two days before permanent deletion.

• Analytics and account-linked AI-usage records are retained while associated with an active account unless deleted sooner under an applicable retention process.

• Feedback is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support history, prevent abuse, and improve the Services.

• Product-level cached facts may be retained separately from your account when they consist of publicly available or deidentified product information.

• Cached product images are temporarily stored on the device and subject to a storage limit. Cached images may be removed by Parcels, the operating system, account deletion, clearing the cache, or removing the app.

• Affiliate and transaction information may be retained as necessary for attribution, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, tax, and legal compliance.

• Security and provider logs may be retained according to operational needs and the applicable provider’s retention practices.

When you delete your Parcels account, the account and account-linked active records—including synchronized saved products, baskets, analytics events, and account-linked AI-usage records—are deleted from our active Supabase systems.

Local account data and cached product images are also cleared through the account-deletion process.

Deleted information may remain temporarily in restricted backups, security records, or service-provider systems until those records are overwritten or removed under applicable retention schedules. We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary or legally required for fraud prevention, security, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Feedback submitted with an installation identifier and product-level facts not reasonably linked to your account may not automatically be removed when the account is deleted. You may contact us to request deletion of identifiable feedback.

9. SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, encrypted network communications, access controls, and database security rules.

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, altered, lost, or disclosed without authorization.

You are responsible for maintaining control of your devices, email account, and authentication credentials.

10. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal information we hold about you;

• Request correction of inaccurate information;

• Request deletion of personal information;

• Obtain a portable copy of certain information;

• Object to or restrict certain processing;

• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

• Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;

• Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information;

• Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request;

• Lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority; and

• Exercise your rights without unlawful discrimination.

You may delete your Parcels account through the account settings in the app.

You may also submit a privacy request using the contact information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law.

Not every right applies in every jurisdiction, and lawful exceptions may apply.

11. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY NOTICE

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

During the preceding 12 months, Parcels may have collected the following categories of personal information:

• Identifiers, such as email address, user ID, session ID, installation ID, IP address, and authentication information;

• Internet or electronic activity, such as app activity, retailer domains, product-link activity, and interactions with the Services;

• Commercial information, such as products saved, viewed, categorized, marked as purchased, or placed in baskets;

• Inferences, such as likely shopping interests or product preferences;

• User-provided content, such as feedback and saved-product information;

• Transaction information received from Apple, retailers, or affiliate partners; and

• Technical information, such as device, browser, operating-system, and diagnostic information.

We obtain this information from you, your device, retailers, Apple, affiliate partners, and service providers. We use and disclose it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Parcels does not currently sell account information or saved-product libraries for money. Affiliate-related disclosures may nevertheless qualify as “sale” or “sharing” under certain broad legal definitions.

California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and receive information about the collection and disclosure of personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

12. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Parcels and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These locations may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

Where required, we will use an approved legal mechanism for international transfers and provide any additional notices required by applicable law.

13. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Parcels is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information without legally required parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Parcels does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 for targeted advertising. Affiliate services are not intended to process information about users Parcels knows are minors.

If you believe a child has provided Parcels with personal information, contact us.

14. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

Parcels contains links to and retrieves content from third-party retailers and services. Their privacy, security, accuracy, availability, and content practices are governed by their own policies.

Parcels is not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Review a retailer’s or provider’s policies before providing information or completing a transaction.

Third-Party Retailer Websites
Parcels lets you save and revisit product pages from third-party retailers. When you choose to save a product link, Parcels may access the link and publicly available product information—such as the product title, price, images, and page content—to save and categorize the item for you.

Retailers’ websites are governed by their own privacy policies and practices. Although Parcels’ own account, sync, analytics, and support services use secure connections, a retailer link you choose may use older or less secure web transport settings. Please avoid saving or submitting sensitive personal information through third-party retailer pages.

15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy as Parcels evolves. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date.

If a change is material, we will provide notice through the app, by email, or through another appropriate method. Where required, we will obtain consent before applying a materially different use or disclosure to information collected under an earlier version of this Privacy Policy.

Continuing to use Parcels does not substitute for affirmative consent where applicable law requires affirmative consent.
